I started shooting weddings about three years ago when a friend asked as
a favor. He was going to stick a camera in the back on a tripod and let it run. He laughed and said, "I know
you can do better than that." And so it started. I have a lot of fun doing this as a freelance videographer
and have come up with some creative concepts and unique elements. One of my traits is I always enjoy when I can come
to the rehearsal and check out sight lines and lighting and chat with the couple and their photographer. It is relaxed
and helps everyone get to know each other. Then I arrive at the site early the next day to get some emotional shots.
Later I capture the arrivals and from that time on, spend as much time necessary capturing the event for the couple to look
back on for years to come. With each wedding shoot I improve and learn something new. I do not use a template
that creates an assembly line for the final product. I make each wedding DVD unique in its own special way, from the
music chosen to the pictures/video used. And I thoroughly enjoy the challenge.

Pre Wedding Interviews w/ Bride & Groom, Moms &
Dads, and Best Man/Maid of Honor at a mutually agreed upon site. Tape of the rehearsal the night before cut and finished (also helps me with sight lines & audio
for the next day)
Pre-ceremony taping (Interviews w/ wedding parties, pan the setting/decorations/etc,
video pretty much everything up to the ceremony) Entry of the guests and seating them Full Ceremony usually with two camcorders (one stationary and one I operate) Reception line video
and party leaving for reception cut & edited Full Video of the reception (one camera) prior to the guests arriving through the specialty dances/garter/bouquet toss
Wedding Day video w/ edited wedding
party interviews to be shown at the reception (w/ screen, projector/speakers if needed...just add $50 to the final price)
Call me for ideas on this...there are soooo many ways to make it happen...) Interviews/Words of Wisdom with the wedding party and guests (approximately 10) at various times throughout
the night at the reception A highlight video of still/video clips from all the tapes (approximately 100) A highlight video of
wedding pictures from the photographer if he/she allows (approximately 40) *PLEASE* check with your photographer and make sure he allows me to video tape while he is taking pictures.
A LOT of them will NOT allow this. Also, if he/she would allow it, ask him/her for a digital disc/thumb drive of the
wedding pictures in JPEG format. I can then make a video for you from them. Sometimes it takes some convincing.

A much shorter artistic version of the entire day cinematically edited with music.
This is one you might watch over and over and show to friends and family. I try and design it to appeal to a wide audience
and capture the excitement of the moment. Honeymoon Video of up to 60 pics (video may added if desired for extra) A finished set of up to ten (10) copies of DVD's in customized cases with picture
covers (Usually three to four discs per set) Approximately six weeks to finish and deliver to you $1200 (with a $50 rebate
{just enough for a good bottle of wine to celebrate!} and special DVD delivered to you and your husband on your 1st anniversary
for a word-of-mouth recommendation from you to someone who hires me for their wedding within that year)
